SAN DIEGO Sketchbook Session CRISIS! HELP!

Transform.. evolve.. TRANSCENDE!

So as it turns out the Marriot has book the usual space that we have thrown the San Diego Sketchbook session at.. soo We need a new location STAT! like Yesterday!!!! if anyone knows of anywhere that we could possibly go we'd love to know.. we have looked into hotels adn they all want at least 4000$ for a space... we have managed to do the sessions for the past 5 or 6 years on a shoestring budget ( like basically on nothing but the promise that we will bring in lots of business ) soo

If you know of anywhere please drop me a line.. I think any spot is good as long as it isn't too far off the beaten path ( a mile or less would be totally ideal .. the closer the better )

we have some money we collected to buy snacks n stuff from last year but it is definitely not enough to rent a hall or anything like that.. so Im Asking for your help!!!

Well, you could come to the ones in Minneapolis, I know they shoot a lot a conventions in bloomington,mn but that might to far for you. :)

=mechangel2002 holds an annual Drink n' Draw event at the Hyatt restaurant and lounge (right next door to the Marriott). I'm sure your group would be more than welcome at the event.

this is somethign we have done in San Diego for the last 5 or 6 years.. If we ever make it to any other conventions I know we'd try to do this there as well

Ah sorry, I'm not helping must, I was trying to make the mood lighter to relax ya, I should have said "not to give up, I'm sure something will open up for you." And I'm sure something will open up for you guys, just gotta keeping fighting for it.

Is this the Saturday Sketch Jam? If so, I don't see why you need to pay to use the Marriott lounges since they're in the public lounge attached to the bar. You're paying customers.

We're not holding it at the Hyatt this year, we've moved it to another bar over in Gaslamp and there's limited space :(

I don't know. You'll have to talk to Diana about that. I won't be there this year, sadly, so I have no idea how many people they are expecting.
